Origins of human rights

Write an essay on the topic of origins of human rights. You can follow the pattern of the origins presented in class and found in many books on origins of human rights or introduction to human rights. However, there are authors who argue the origins should be traced to more recent history only. You make your choice or even attempt to develop your own argument by simply pointing to particular sets of historical events that could mark the origins of human rights. The essay should be around 1,500 words including references and bibliography.
