Please write it as a potentially publishable article: a research paper that constitutes a contribution or an engagement with an ongoing scholarly conversation about character. You may use any fictional work to prove or support your argument (Emma by Jane Austen, Oliver Twist by Dickens, Jane Eyre, Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, Tess d"Urbervilles by Tom Hardy are some good examples).
