Research Article Critique
This assignment is meant to help you learn how to critically analyze evidence-based research and understand how it is utilized within the nursing profession.
You will write a research article critique in APA format that will summarize the findings of an article assigned to you. The body of your paper should not exceed 5 pages (excluding title and reference pages). Any information beyond the page limit will not be marked. This assignment is worth 15% of your final grade. Please be sure to properly cite your article and other references within the body of your paper as well as on your reference page. You must utilize at least 3 references in total (can include the article you are critiquing). APA information has been posted on blackboard (12 font, use of proper headings, etc).
This assignment is due in hard copy on or before Wed March 8th by 12 noon in the nursing office. Please submit it in an envelope with both your name and Professor Wagner on the front, as well as the number (1-4) of the article that you were assigned. Late assignments (after 12 noon) will lose 10% per day up to 3 days before given a zero grade. Please include a copy of the rubric that applies to your paper (qualitative or quantitative). Please use the headings listed on your rubric within your paper.
