Role of nurse and the population served

Nurses have a role, within the healthcare team, to function as coordinators and evaluators of care across the continuum. As an integral team member, nurses must facilitate care and services that are on quality-driven, cost-effective, culturally appropriate, and patient- and family-centered.
This assignment links the nurse working within the healthcare setting and even system to address key activities under their control, care coordination and the integration of technology to enhance patient experiences and care quality.
