Page limit: 1 page per reference, and 2 pages for concepts discussion.
At the start of your written product complete the following:
Describe the concept of power in political analysis.
What is your interpretation of this statement? “Politics is the art of the impossible"
Describe a nurse leader who currently influences policy at the national level. Explore how this nurse leader influences nursing practice and share why you admire this person.
Choose 2 of Alinsky’s tactics to use in relationship to lobbying for your bill. What do you think of them? If you do not like a tactic, carefully consider how it might be used to your advantage but why you would not use it. Discuss 2 tactics in your annotated bib paper.
Remember to cite in text and provide your references.
Complete an annotated bibliography of 3 articles related to your position on the bill. One article should be in opposition to your position. A top notch project will use more than 3 articles, but you need only annotate 3 of them.
For your annotated bib, you will want to note why the article is appropriate to your position on the bill and discuss why the opposing article is flawed.
7. Provide a 1 page DRAFT position statement, relaying 5 of your most persuasive and important facts.
Save a copy of your most important or persuasive article and upload it to the course.
Where possible provide a pdf file
