WEBSITE WIREFRAME

ORDER NOW

For the project, you will create a new (re-designed) prototype website in Powerpoint for the THE MEADOWS (www.themeadows.com). A website prototype represents the skeletal framework of a website, provides links, and includes images and text.
You can re-use some of the existing textual or visual content from the existing website, if it fits well with your content strategy which you have already proposed (******see attached Content Strategy Proposal in the files section). But, you will need to produce new content as well, in keeping with your content strategy.
Look very closely at competitors’ websites in order to better understand the context for the site. That is, do competitor sites have common/shared characteristics? Are these elements that you will need to add/keep for your organization’s website? Are there unique features that work well? How will your re-design help the organization stand out among its competitors?
Process
1. Begin the prototype by reviewing your statement of purpose and audience analysis. Then look at your Content Strategy document and the client"s original website. In what ways will your audience interact with the content on the website? What will they need to accomplish? In what ways can you better chunk, edit and layer the textual and visual content help your user?
2. Find a minimum of 4 pages in which you have suggested changes, or those which would be affected by changes you have made on one page, for example, changes with navigation on the Home page.
3. Create a minimum 4 pages with the same header navigation and footer navigation on each page. Carefully consider how the user will navigate between Home and the other pages and back. Make certain your user does not get lost! For more information about navigation, see: https://blog.kissmetrics.com/common-website-navigation-mistakes/
4. Include textual and visual content that will meet the needs of the user of this website,
Complete a thorough statement of purpose and audience analysis. Create a prototype of each page using Powerpoint. Prototypes should contain textual content that is edited, chunked and layered, including links, pullout quotes within the written text, and places for images and appropriate multimedia. Please include the actual visuals (images and multimedia).
Create all web pages, include navigation on all pages. Complete the first draft of two pages" written and visual content, e.g., the Home page and one other page.
