Personal Leadership Development Plan

The final paper will be a 5-page typed double-spaced analysis of your success at achieving
your goals. The paper will also include an action plan for what you intend to do after the
course is over to continue working toward your leadership development goals. Finally, you
will present a summary of your plan with details you feel comfortable sharing to the class.
The purpose of this presentation if to help other students have a greater understanding of the
different forms of leadership development plans.
In addition to what has described above, to complete the assignment successfully you will need to:
1. Identify how you decided upon your leadership and professional goals. Various class
activities and self-assessments should be useful in gaining personal insight needed to set
challenging professional goals.
2. Define your current and projected goals using the SMART goal criteria. As SMART
goals are time-bound, you should include a timeline and alternate goals in case of
unforeseen circumstances.
3. Connect your professional goals to content covered in the course. Highlight how
information in this course has helped you formulate or will help you achieve your goals.
4. Feedback is necessary to improve and implement effective goals. You need to provide
constructive feedback for the presentations of the other class members. Presenters can
elicit this feedback from the class as well. You should also include a feedback
mechanism that relates to your goals outside of the classroom environment.

the book I used is "Organizational Behavior by Kinicki, Fugate". ISBN# 978-1-25-918841-1. You need to glance the book to help you do the paper.
